This month, as part of our project Jerez es, we want to celebrate exactly that: Jerez is culture.
And September is full of reasons to celebrate it.

A tribute to an artist from Jerez
This month, in honour of «Jerez is culture», we wanted to pay tribute to a very special artist from Jerez: Ismael Jordi.
An internationally acclaimed tenor, Ismael has taken the name of Jerez to great stages all over the world, making his talent another way of representing and celebrating our land.
Those of you who have already visited La Carboná will surely have recognised him: his portrait is already part of our home, and now we want to dedicate this room to him as a small tribute to his career and to everything he means to Jerez.
Because this is culture too: recognising those whose talent makes our land heard far beyond its borders.
We are very proud that Ismael Jordi is part of our story. ❤️
Celebrating what is ours, opening up to the world
🍇 Harvest Festival
The Jerez Harvest Festival (Fiestas de la Vendimia) is over, but it has left us with a very special memory.
The release of Viña La Zarzuela, paired with our selection of cheeses, was received incredibly well. We are delighted to see how much you enjoyed such a special wine, made in such limited quantities.

Thank you, Mexico
September began with our eyes on Mexico, hand in hand with Original Xérès, with two very special events: «Solo para tus sentidos» (Just for your senses) and «¡Provecho!» (Enjoy your meal!).
Two days of Mexican cuisine in Jerez, with the finest tequilas, cocktails and wines.
Thank you to the chefs, to Original Xérès, to the mariachis, to the tequila makers, to the wineries and to everyone who joined us. It has been a pleasure to open our home to Mexico and share our table with you.
Celebrating culture
Behind every glass, every dish and every work of art there is someone making this land great.
At La Carboná we want to open our doors to all of them, celebrate their talent and keep championing everything that makes us proud to be Jerez.
