From 2 to 4 September, La Carboná will take part in Original Xérès – Wines That Are Cities, a gathering that brings together Jerez and the Mexican state of Jalisco through gastronomy, music and two territories with their own identity: Sherry wine and Tequila.
For three days, our restaurant will host two unique gastronomic experiences with Mexican chef Óscar Garza, from the restaurant Bruna (Guadalajara, Jalisco).

Alma y Cuerpo
A one-of-a-kind dinner where the cuisines of Jerez and Jalisco come together in a menu created jointly by Javier Muñoz and Óscar Garza.
The experience will be accompanied by a concert of Mexican folk music and an exceptional pairing with Bodega Luis Pérez wines and premium tequilas.
A single night to discover the meeting of two cultures through gastronomy.
3 and 4 September | ¡Provecho!
Jalisco – Jerez Gastronomic Days
On 3 and 4 September, La Carboná and Bruna join forces to bring the flavours of Jalisco to Jerez with a selection of Mexican dishes created especially for these days.
During lunch service, guests will be able to enjoy this Mexican offering and combine it with the regular dishes on our menu, creating their own gastronomic experience.
An opportunity to discover how Sherry wine and Tequila can become ingredients capable of creating a shared culinary language.
Much more than gastronomy
Original Xérès will also bring together a top-level cultural programme with the lyrical gala «Zarzuela de ida y vuelta», with the special participation of Plácido Domingo, the only concert in Spain by the Mariachi Femenil Nuevo Tecalitlán, premium tequila tastings and various cultural exchanges between Jerez and Jalisco.
